Testm Stephe Dunnowe. in the name of god amen The thirde day of Octobre In the yere of our lord god a thousande fyve hundred and xxiiij And in the xvj yere of the Reigne of kynge henry the viij£ Stevyn dannowe of maydstone in the shire of kent being sike in bodr and hole in mynde and in good remembraunt make iny testament and last wille in maner and some folowyng ffirst bequeth my seale to almighty god and to our lady saint mary and to all the hole company of hevyn and my body to be burred in the Churchyarde of All Sayntes of maydstone on the Southside next vnto the buriall of sgnes my wife decessed also I bequeth to the high awter for my tithes and offeringes netligently forgotten and witholden iij & iiijᵈ Item to the Crosselight of the same thurche xijd tem to the light of Corpus xx · xijᵈ Item to the light of Jesus xijᵈ further more: I will that whan it shall please god to call for me out of this worlde xxvjt hiijᵈ to be bestowed in dages and masses and of chantable almes for the welthe of my seale and all phrisen soules, and in likeman of ay monethes day and at my yeres mynde vp& furthermore I will after my decesse two trentalles to be saide oon at Gylforth and another at gotkynden ffurthermore I will a prest to synge for my soule and all prpen sowles by the space of oon yere assone as it may be doon conuencently as halfe & yere in oon yere and halfe oner another yere or otherwise yf nede shall cause hit The Residue of any goodes not beguethed my dettes and mny bequestes paide and contented / geve vnto Elizabeth my wife whom) make myn exeentrix of this my last will made the yere and Day aforsaid ffurthermore where it is so that of late daies) bargeyned with conr Stevyn mason vyntener of london for the place dwell in with another tenement vpon certeyn pay ment as vj£ xiijˢ iiijᵈ to be paid by evyn porcions afiny qualters as sment and was my conenant, he nowe cntrarying my said mynde and concennt and entent will not agree to paye the said somme but saith that other. wise agreed with him · as in this eaas do recorde and testefy as I will answere afore god that yf saide otherwise / payns did cause me and lack of good mynde · wherfor it is my mynde as it was then Except he content / and paye me according vnto my mynde and couenantes & mrch yerely by egall porcions till the some be fully content and paide he shall neuer enioye it but haue ageyn suche money as he hath larde vpon it / and I will make the best shifte that I cane this to be of trouth as take god to Recorde / And yf so be that Stevyn mason wilnet fulfill my first couenantes paying pmrces by yere till the somme of xt moch be fully paide Than I will it Remayn to Elizabeth my wife to geve or to sell, and to doo hir best to the perfourmauns of this my last will / The one plus to be bestowed in dedes of charrtie after hir distrecion for the weal of my foule and all propen soules, Thise beyng witnesses maister Tylden Thomas Baker and Thomas Ellys with other there present
